If you don’t want to invest your money in rectangular or diamond shaped panes, there is a cheap way to go. You could buy single pane windows and buy a device called snap-in muntins, these muntins are made from plastic or wood, and they can be made to match the window frame. They snap on to the back of the window on the inside. They can be removed easily for cleaning purposes.
