Pools & Spas
Spa construction basics

Right down to the smallest feature, a concrete spa is built the same way as an in-ground pool of the same material. Installing an in-ground fiberglass spa is almost identical to installing a fiberglass swimming pool except the scope of job. Portable spa needs to be placed on either a concrete platform or a 6”-12” bed of sand. Spas are easily filled with a garden hose, they lose less water to evaporation than swimming pools but they may need water added 2-3 times a week in order to remain full.
