A concrete swimming pool can look gorgeous simply by changing part of the existing deck and coping materials. First, the tile and the top section of plaster are removed, then new coping and tiles are installed, when everything is set the new plaster is applied to the top portion of the wall and carefully feather in so you don’t see any seams between the old and the new. This is the simplest make over. A more extensive makeover will include removing existing plaster completely, digging the sidewalls to attach plumbing systems for new returns and new drains, as well as upgrading equipment such as lighting and skimmers.
