Heating & Cooling
Cooling systems

Most of the forced air heating units are readily adoptable to include mechanical air conditioning, The heat pump included because the same equipment is used for heating and cooling operations.  When you consider the installation of air conditioning there are number of significant points you should look at.

Look always at the seasonal energy efficiency rating (SEERs) – that is how you can. compare units, fourteen is acceptable, sixteen are average, and eighteen are very good.

It is not recommended to oversize a system.

Try to locate the outdoor compressor away from bedroom windows, and decks or anywhere else where noise may be a problem.

Make sure the unit’s top will keep leaves, dirt and debris from clogging the insides.

If you plan on adding-on in the future, make sure that the size of your air conditioner will accommodate that.
